Founded in 1946 by Jack F McKinney as a manufacturer's rep company covering the Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana area, McKinney Sales had already established itself as a leader in the electronics industry by the time Greg McKinney joined the firm in 1975. Greg was most interested in the consumer electronic lines the company represented and steered the company in that direction.

McKinney Sales began distributing some of its "limited distribution" lines in 1982 and the distribution side of our business has been successful in helping us market our lines for over twenty five years now. As one of the first rep-distributors in the industry, other reps often seek our advice on how to make it work successfully.

Experienced and superior salesmanship gets results. We have an enviable track record that includes not only many Rep of the Year awards and the like, but that in recent years finds us at, or near the top, of the performance charts for many of our lines, not just one or two.

Whether as a manufacturer's representative or as a distributor, McKinney Sales recognizes that success hinges on two words --- Customer Service. We try to treat every customer as though they are our best customer. To that end we have inside sales people with years of technical knowledge who can provide support to our customers. Our customers enjoy our late (4:45 P.M.) order cutoff time that gets their orders to them sooner. While selling and servicing accounts is happening, there is an office staff of three at the McKinney Sales headquarter from 9-6 p.m., CST, five days a week to handle customer concerns like delivery status, product returns and most importantly, getting those big orders into the manufacturer in a timely manner!
